Risk Racing is a motocross and powersports company located in the beautiful Lake Norman area, just 35 miles north of Charlotte, NC. We prosper on designing new, innovative and patented products for the powersports industry.
We are currently seeking a professional and motivated person to join our team as an Account Manager who will handle product and sales support. The qualified applicant MUST possess a positive spirit, a strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial drive to help our company grow.
EXAMPLE OF GENERAL TASKS:
Work with internal team to create and implement marketing strategies via press releases, newsletters, grassroots advertising, promotional programs, social media, etc.
Manage social media and effectively communicate our brands message through creative posts. Research, learn, & keep up to date on the ever-changing best methods to make the biggest impact with our social media efforts…stay on trend and relevant.
Aid in the development, execution and tracking of sales programs, promotions, marketing efforts with various accounts, dealers, distributors, influencers.
Audit distributors and key accounts to ensure current and correct product details, images, pricing and written copy in catalogs/websites. Encourage the stocking of missing products to expand sales growth.
A point of contact for dealers, distributors, and their sales reps / staff
Research and identify new sales opportunities in the powersports market and possibly cross over markets that fit our product base.
Staff trade and distributor shows when required.
Aid with customer service questions and requests that arrive via phone/web/social media.
Manage sponsored athletes from amateur to pro level to ensure we are getting the most out of our investment.
Aid in creating original content for our marketing efforts (pictures, videos, or other creative content).
THE PROPER CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
Outstanding oral and written communication skills (Well written emails are a must).
Computer skills: Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office, etc.
Experience with Powersports / dirt bikes products / industry is a plus.
BA in Business/Marketing or similar work experience is a plus.
As a member of a small team you WILL make a difference here. You must be a team player, be flexible, and be willing to pitch in where needed…we all wear a lot of hats!
