How much do motocross helmets cost?

The majority of Motocross Racers are going to be using an off-road dirt bike helmet which is a full-face helmet with a built-in chinstrap and visor. They are the best option because they are very lightweight and you can get into a good one for under $350.

The helmet isn’t an area where going the cheap route is beneficial. Over the years, scientific studies have shown us the importance of protecting our noggin, and buying a cheap helmet is not a smart way to handle that. Top of the line motocross helmets are not only the top in our industry, but the same companies work with other sports, such as the NFL, to create the safest solutions possible for your head.

How Much Are Motocross Boots?

Motocross boots are extremely important as they protect those things you walk on every day. They protect your feet, ankles, and lower legs from things like impacts, twisting and turning, and other safety hazards like the extreme heat from your bike.

Ideally, you are going to want to have a budget in the $300 range for a good set of boots. Like a helmet, I strongly advise going the cheap route when it comes to boots. Cheaper sets do not hold up as well when it comes to supporting your ankles and feet when they get stretched, twisted or bent, and you do not want to have ankle issues for the rest of your life.

A high-quality set of motocross gloves will provide optimal grip, help reduce blisters, and keep you from sweating all over the place.
